A raisin bread wreath decorated with cherries and cream cheese frosting would look and taste perfect on your holiday table or to give away as gifts to your friends.

Ingredients

  1. 1 loaf Rhodes Raisin Bread, thawed
    1/2 cup cream cheese frosting, optional
    1/4 cup candied cherries, optional
    Christmas ribbon


    Pan size; cookie sheet
    Temperature; 350° F
    Baking time; 20-25 minutes

Instructions

Thaw dough until soft (about 3 hours at room temperature). Cut loaf lengthwise into 3 sections. Roll each section to at least 36 inches long. Braid together. Place braid on sprayed cookie sheet forming a circle by tucking and joining the ends together. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap. Allow braid to rise 2 hours or until double in size. Remove wrap. Bake at 350° F for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. If desired, frost with cream cheese frosting and garnish with candied cherries. Tie a Christmas bow and place on wreath.
