Buttermilk or Cinnamon, these biscuits are smothered in a delicious and delightful toffee sauce.
In medium saucepan, combine 2/3 cup cream, 3/4 cup sugar and the butter. Cook over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. (Mixture will thicken and darken in color.) Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes. Wisk in 2/3 cup cream then heat on medium-low, stirring until smooth. Whip remaining 2/3 cup cream with 1 tablespoon sugar. To serve, split a biscuit in half and cover with whipped cream. Pour warm toffee sauce over the top and sprinkle with bits of toffee candy. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream.
