Spinach combines with the savory flavors of cheese, mushrooms, ham or pepperoni to make this a satisfying meal addition.

  1. 1 loaf Rhodes Bread Dough, thawed and risen
    2 (10oz.) packages chopped frozen spinach-thawed and drained
    1/2 pound sliced pepperoni or chopped cooked ham
    1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
    11/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    1 egg white with 1 tablespoon water, beaten
    sesame seeds


Roll dough into a 10x15-inch rectangle. Sprinkle spinach over surface. Top with pepperoni, mushrooms and cheese. Roll jellyroll fashion, pinch along seam to seal. Form a ring and pinch ends together. Place seam side down on large sprayed baking sheet. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Make 5 or 6 slashes on top of ring to let out steam. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise for 30 minutes. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 30-40 minutes or until nicely browned. Serve hot from the oven.
