Thaw the dinner rolls in a plastic bag at room temperature until they have completely thawed. Place the sugar cubes in a plastic bag and crush them by tapping them gently with a rolling pin. (Large chunks about the size of peas are good!)
Knead 3 teaspoons of the crushed sugar into each dinner roll and flatten each into a 4” circle.
Spray waffle iron with non-stick spray and cook on medium heat as you would any other waffle. When golden, remove and serve hot with delicious toppings like Nutella and fresh sliced strawberries or Cookie butter and sliced bananas! (Oh, and don’t forget whipped cream on top!)
