Ingredients

  1. 1 Loaf Rhodes Bread Dough thawed but still cold
  2. Filling
  3. 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  4. 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  5. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  6. ⅓ cup butter, softened
  7. Frosting
  8. 4 ounce cream cheese, softened
  9. Tablespoons soft butter
  10. 3 Tablespoons pure Maple Syrup
  11. 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  12. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  13. ⅛ teaspoon salt

Instructions

Roll the dough into a 18 x 21-inch rectangle. Mix together the spices, brown sugar and butter. Spread mixture over the dough rectangle leaving a 1/2" border on one long edge..

Starting with the long side, roll up dough so you have an 18" log. Cut into 9-10 even rolls. Using baking spay prepare a 9"-10" pie plate (or pan of your choice that is large enough to hold the rolls) and place the rolls in the pan. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until nearly doubled, about 45 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Bake rolls on the center rack about 15 minutes or until golden browned.

While the rolls are baking, combine cream cheese, butter, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, maple syrup and salt with a mixer until fluffy.

Allow rolls to cool for about 10-15 minutes and spread frosting on warms rolls.
