Ingredients

  1. 12 dinner rolls
  2. 1/4 cup butter
  3. 1/3 cup chopped onion
  4. 2 cups potatoes
  5. ½ cup chopped carrots
  6. 1 cup corn
  7. 2 cups chicken broth
  8. 1 ½ tsp salt
  9. ¼ tsp sage
  10. 1/8 tsp black pepper
  11. ¼ tsp paprika
  12. 1 tsp parsley
  13. 2 Tbs flour
  14. 2 cups half and half

Instructions

Thaw your dinner rolls. Combine 3 rolls, cover and let them rise until doubled. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes (until golden brown). Let cool.

Saute chopped carrots and onion in butter. Add diced potatoes, chicken broth, water and seasonings. Combine flour and half and half until smooth, then add to your chowder. Let simmer and cook down until thick and creamy and all the potatoes are cooked.

Pour chowder into your bread bowls and add top with cheese and bacon.
