These wholesome bread goodness pine cones are fun to eat . They look festive on your table besides being easy to make with frozen dough.


Prep Time: 15 min (not including thaw time)
Bake Time: 15-20 min

Ingredients

  1. Non-stick cooking spray
    24 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls, thawed, but still cold
    1 egg, beaten

Instructions

Press two rolls together, forming an oval. Cut five deep slices into the oval, slanting the knife towards the top. With scissors, cut deep clips in the opposite direction, staggering them on each layer. Place on a large sprayed cookie sheet. Brush rolls with egg. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and allow to rise until double. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
