Press two rolls together, forming an oval. Cut five deep slices into the oval, slanting the knife towards the top. With scissors, cut deep clips in the opposite direction, staggering them on each layer. Place on a large sprayed cookie sheet. Brush rolls with egg. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and allow to rise until double. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
