These pepperoni swirls are easy to pick up in your hand and pop into your mouth. You will be tempted to enjoy more than one.
Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Divide the loaf in half. Roll each half into a 6x12-inch rectangle. Layer half of the pepperoni on each rectangle, lengthwise, leaving one inch along one long side bare.
Brush the bare inch of dough with water. Evenly distribute the peppers and green onions over the pepperoni.
Starting with the long edge opposite the bare edge, tightly roll up both rectangles and pinch edges to seal.
Place both on a large sprayed baking sheet. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise 30 minutes.
Remove wrap and bake at 350° F 20-25 minutes. Cool and then slice. Serve with sliced tomatoes and olives if desired.
