Ingredients

  1. 1 Loaf Rhodes™ White Bread Dough, thawed
  2. egg beaten
  3. coarse sugar, optional
  4. sesame seeds, optional
  5. poppy seeds, optional

Instructions

Thaw dough until soft(about 3 hours at room temperature). Spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. With a knife, cut dough into pieces to match the number of letters to be formed. Cover dough with sprayed plastic wrap to keep it from dying out while you are creating individual letters. Roll each piece into a rope, 1/2 inch in diameter, and form letters by cutting and pinching where necessary. Place letters about 1/2 inch apart on baking sheet and cover with sprayed plastic wrap. This placement will allow letters to grow together in baking and form words. (For individual letters, place further apart). Let rise about 20 minutes then remove wrap and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with coarse sugar or seeds. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
