Use Kitchen Shears to cut each roll into four equal pieces. Place dough pieces on parchment paper covered baking sheet.
Mix baking soda and water together in large pot, bring to boil.
Place each dough piece into gently boiling water for 1 minute. Remove dough from water with a slotted spoon, and place back onto parchment paper. Mix egg and water together to create egg wash, brush over each dough piece. Sprinkle egg washed dough pieces with Kosher Salt.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve right away while still warm.
