  1. 12 Rhodes Texas Rolls
  2. 12 TB of jam
  3. Optional glaze:
  4. Mix together:
  5. 1 cup powdered sugar
  6. 1 TB soft butter
  7. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  8. 2-3 TB of milk


Advance Preparation:
Put the frozen rolls in a plastic bag.  Leave them in the refrigerator overnight or on the counter for about 2 hours, until thawed but still cold.

Spray a cookie sheet or cover with parchment paper.  Flatten each roll into a circle and put them on the cookie sheet.  Spray plastic wrap with non-stick cooking spray and cover the rolls loosely.  Let the rolls rise about 2 hours.

After the rolls have risen, turn the oven on to 350 degrees.  Push down the center of each roll to make a dip.  Fill it with a tablespoon of your favorite jam or jelly.
Place the filled dough back on the cookie sheet and let them rise a little more.  Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.  While they are baking, make the glaze if desired.

When the rolls are finished you will have warm, delicious dessert rolls overflowing with jam.

Put the glaze in a zip-top plastic bag and decorate the jam bellies with the glaze.  You can also just brush the glaze on each roll with a pastry brush.
