Cream cheese and apples are the perfect combination in this tasty torte.

Ingredients

  1. 6 Rhodes Yeast Texas Rolls or 9 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls, thawed and risen
  2. 8 ounces cream cheese
  3. 1/4 cup sugar
  4. 1 egg
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  6. 21 oz can apple pie filling
  7. 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Combine rolls into a ball. Roll into a 13-inch circle and place on a 12-inch sprayed pizza pan.

Whip cream cheese until very smooth, then add sugar, egg and vanilla and blend well. Spread on dough. Arrange apple pie filling over the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with almonds.

Bake at 350°F 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
