A fun sandwich that works great for a special luncheon or for the kids after school snack.

Ingredients

  1. 6 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature
    honey mustard dressing
    6 thin slices ham or salami (cut to a 3-4 inch circle)
    6 thin slices provolone cheese (cut to a 3-4 inch circle)

Instructions

Cut one roll in half. Place cut sides down on a lightly sprayed counter top. Press each piece into a 3-4 inch circle. Spread a slight teaspoon of honey mustard dressing on the top of one of the dough circles.

Place a cheese circle over the dressing. Place a circle of ham or salami over the cheese. Carefully place the other dough circle on top of the meat. Lift sandwich onto a sprayed baking sheet. Repeat with the rest of the rolls to make 6 sandwiches.

Make eight cuts, evenly spaced into the circle (leaving connected in the center) to make eight triangles. Turn cut edges up and overlap every other one to make a four leaf clover. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise 30 minutes. Reposition anything if necessary before baking.

Bake at 350°F 10 minutes or until golden brown.
