Ingredients

  1. 12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed
  2. 1/4 cup butter
  3. 1/4 cup sugar
  4. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  5. Chocolate Fondue:
  6. 1 cup chocolate chips
  7. 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

Cut each thawed roll into 4 pieces. Cut a slit on the curved side of each roll piece to make a heart shape. Allow the roll bites to rise for 20-30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and bring a large pot of water to boil on the stove. 

Once the roll bites are nice and puffy, carefully transfer 8-10 of them to the boiling water. Boil for 30 seconds and then flip each heart and boil on the other side for 30 seconds. Remove them from the water and allow to dry on a paper towel while you boil the rest of the heart bites 8-10 at a time.

Place the boiled bites on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in the 375 degree oven for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. While the bites are cooking, melt the butter and mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a large bowl.

Brush both sides of the heart bites with the melted butter and then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture. 

To make the fondue: Mix the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwavable bowl. Microwave on high 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each 30 second interval until the chocolate is melted and smooth.

Dip the heart bites in the chocolate and ENJOY!
