Bake cinnamon rolls according to package directions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove plastic wrap and card board top from cinnamon rolls; place the rolls in the oven. Keep them in the tin foil pan that they come in. Bake 30 minutes, remove from oven and allow cooling to the touch.
Once cooled, cut the cinnamon rolls in half. Heat a griddle or medium sauté pan over medium-high heat. Once pan is hot add 1 tablespoon of butter, move around the pan so that the butter evenly spreads and melts around the whole pan. Once the butter is hot and bubbly, place 4 cinnamon rolls halves down in the pan. Let the rolls cook until the butter is completely gone and absorbed by the cinnamon roll. Check to see if the cinnamon roll is a golden brown and toasted, remove from pan once it is. Repeat with remain rolls and butter. Serve immediately with Cinnamon Walnut Cream Cheese Frosting or butter.
