A kolache is a roll filled with all kinds of great ingredients.


Prep Time: 30 min (not including thaw time)
Bake Time: 15 min

Ingredients

  1. 8 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature
  2. 1 1/2 cups cooked, cubed chicken
  3. 5 tablespoons curry sauce
  4. 1/2 cup grated carrots
  5. 1/2 cup cooked, diced potatoes
  6. 1 tablespoon diced onion
  7. 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Instructions

Spray counter lightly with cooking spray. Flatten each roll into a 5-6 inch circle. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest.

Combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Remove wrap from dough and divide filling evenly between the 8 circles (about 1/3 cup on each). Wipe edge of circles with water to help seal. Pull one side of dough over filling then the opposite side over that. Press ends flat to seal, then fold one end over and then the last end over. Pinch to help seal.

Place sealed side down on sprayed baking sheet. Bake at 375°F 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter.
