Prep Time: 30 min (not including thaw time)
Bake Time: 25 min
Servings: 12

  1. For Base
  2. 12 Rhodes frozen dinner rolls
  3. 1 1/4 cup prepared Blackberry pie filling (you can use your favorite flavor)
  4. For Crumble
  5. 1/2 cup soft butter
  6. 1/2 cup sugar
  7. 3/4 cup flour
  8. For Glaze
  9. 1 cup powdered sugar
  10. 1-2 Tbs water
  11. pinch of salt
  12. 1 tsp almond extract

Remove rolls from freezer and allow to thaw for about 2 hours, until cold but no longer frozen. Cut each roll into 4 pieces each. Prepare a 9"x7" baking pan with cooking spray.

Place the roll pieces in the prepared pan covering the bottom. Using 1 1/4 cup of pie filling drop dollops of filling over the roll pieces. It does not need to cover all the dough. Set aside and prepare streusel topping.

Mix together soft butter, sugar and flour in small bowl until combined. Place Streusel topping over top of pastry making sure to cover the entire top.

Allow pastry to rise for about 30 minuets.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake pastry in preheated oven for 25 minuets or until streusel top is golden brown. Allow to cool. While pastry is cooling prepare vanilla glaze.

Mix powdered sugar, salt, almond extract and one tablespoon of water in small bowl. If glaze is too thick add more water one teaspoon at a time until desired consistency is reached. If glaze is too thin add more powdered sugar.

When the pastry is cool drizzle with the vanilla glaze. Serve and enjoy. Store pastry in air tight container.
