Spray a 9 x 5 loaf pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, bacon pieces and onion. Drain. Add salt and pepper to taste. Set aside to cool.
Roll out a loaf of thawed Rhodes Bake-N-Serv White Bread into a 20 x 12” rectangle (it will be thin.) Spread the dough with the cheese sauce, the cooked meat mixture and the grated cheese.
Add a dash of garlic salt into the melted butter in a small dish and stir.
Cut the rectangle in half (lengthwise) then crosswise into 5 equal strips. You should have 10 rectangles that are about 4 x 6” each. (This can also be educational for the kids!)
Fold each rectangle in half. Brush the top of each folded rectangle with the garlic butter. (Not only does this add great flavor, but it helps them to pull apart easily after baking.)
Stack 5 of the folded pieces of meat filled dough and place them together, open end up, into one end of the greased loaf pan. Repeat with the remaining 5 pieces and place in loaf pan.
Cover with a sheet of plastic wrap that has been sprayed with non-stick spray and allow to rise for 30 minutes in a warm place.
Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
Allow the loaf to remain in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing to a serving tray. Pull apart to serve. Serve with ketchup and dill pickle chips on the side, if desired.
