Easy apple pie topped with whipped cream in a bread crust. All your favorite flavors!

Prep Time: 15 min (not including thaw time)
Bake Time: 30 min

  1. 9 Rhodes Yeast Texas Rolls or 14 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls, thawed and risen
  2. 51 ounce apple pie filling (one 30 ounce, one 21 ounce)
  3. 2 cups whipping cream
  4. 4 tablespoons flour
  5. 2 eggs, beaten
  6. 1/3 cup sugar
  7. 3 tablespoons sugar
  8. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon


Combine rolls together and roll into a 13x17-inch rectangle. Place on a sprayed jelly roll pan. Spread with pie filling. Spread creamed mixture over pie filling.* Mix 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over creamed mixture.

Bake at 350°F 30 minutes or until firm. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream.

Microwave Method:
Microwave whipping cream three minutes on high. Stir in flour, beaten eggs and sugar. Microwave another three minutes.

Stove Top Method:
Mix flour, sugar, and whipping cream. Heat to scalding, gradually add beaten eggs and cook until thick.
