Twisted Cinnamon Wreath

This is a perfect addition to your Holiday menu.

10 Rhodes Texas Rolls or 16 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
6 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons water


Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Combine rolls and roll into an 11x20-inch rectangle. Combine butter, sugar and cinnamon and spread over dough. Sprinkle pecans over the top. Roll up tightly, jelly roll style, starting with a long side. With a sharp serrated knife, cut roll in half lengthwise. Turn each half so the cut side is facing up. Carefully twist halves together so cut sides can be seen. Form the twist into a circle and pinch ends together. Place on sprayed baking sheet. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise 30-45 minutes. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 20-25 minutes. Cover with foil the last 5 minutes, if necessary, to prevent over browning. Combine glaze ingredients and brush wreath while still warm.
