Rhodes Frozen Dinner Rolls (pre-baked)
Thinly Sliced Cheddar Cheese
Cream Cheese
Garlic Butte

Pre-make some Frozen Rhodes Dinner Rolls. I let my rolls rise for a bit longer than recommended on the packaging, 5-7 hours.

Cut rolls in half to make a sandwich. Spread cream cheese on the top and rest the sliced cheddar cheese on the bottom. Slather on some garlic butter (or regular butter and a light sprinkle of garlic powder if you don't have it) and place it in your waffle maker. My waffle maker allows 4 dinner rolls to nestle into the 4 quadrants.

Close firmly to press the sandwich. When the light shows green the cheese should be melted but check to make sure. It is ok to leave it in longer until your cheese is perfectly melted and the outside is golden crispy brown.

In truth, the hardest part about this recipe is waiting for the sandwich to cool down so that you can take your first bite. We dunk ours in Tomato Basil Soup.
Next time you have extra day old rolls, this is the perfect way to use them! Happy eating!
