Pizza Panini Dippers

1 bag Rhodes Whole Wheat Warm-N-Serve Rolls (6ct)
12 slices deli ham
18 slices pepperoni
6 slices provolone cheese
6 slices mozzarella cheese
Sliced olives (optional)
¼ cup olive oil
Garlic salt, for sprinkling
Italian seasoning blend, for sprinkling
For the dipping sauce:
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon honey


Warm rolls according to directions on bag--either in the microwave or the oven. Once they are cooled to
room temperature, cut them open.

To prepare the dipping sauce, in a blender combine diced tomatoes, tomato paste, italian seasoning, garlic salt and honey. Blend until smooth. Heat in a small saucepan on the stove top or in a microwave-safe bowl.
Keep warm until dippers are ready to serve.

Preheat a panini press to medium-high.
Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on the top of each sliced roll and provolone on the bottom of each roll.
(Having the cheese on the outside will help hold everything together when it melts.) Layer 2 slices ham, 3
pepperonis, and sliced olives (if using). Close the roll and brush both sides with olive oil. Place sandwich on panini press and sprinkle with garlic salt. Press each roll and cook until the cheese is melted and filling is
