1 loaf Rhodes frozen bread dough
4 slices bacon, diced
1 small onion
1 or 1 ½ pounds ground beef
Salt and pepper
½ cup barbecue sauce
2 cups cheddar cheese, plus more for garnishing if desired

Spray a baking sheet with non-spray cooking spray. Set one loaf of Rhodes frozen bread dough on it to thaw as directed.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. When the dough is just about ready, fry bacon until nearly crispy. Add onion and ground beef and brown over medium heat until cooked all the way through. Drain well. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in barbecue sauce.

Over a floured surface, roll dough into a 12x15-inch rectangle. Spread meat mixture evenly over dough and sprinkle with cheese.

Starting with the long side, roll up the dough. Pinch the seams together. Dip your fingertips into flour to pinch any holes together without the dough sticking to them. Place rolled loaf back on baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with extra cheese if desired. Slice and serve.
