Baked Orange French Toast

6 Rhodes orange rolls, prepared as directed and diced into cubes (do not add the frosting)
2 large eggs
1/2 C heavy cream
1/8 Cup Maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp orange zest


Place your cut up rolls in a large bowl. In a separate bowl whisk together the eggs, cream, syrup, vanilla, zest, and cinnamon. Pour the liquid mixture over your rolls and toss to coat. Lightly spray a 9 inch baking dish (or six smaller ramekins) with cooking spray. Pour your custard mixture into the dish and cover with plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or up to overnight.
The next morning preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Bake your french toast for 20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Serve with the orange glaze that came with your cinnamon rolls or syrup.
