Apple Streusel Breakfast Bake

Cinnamon Rolls and apples are a great combination!

12 Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls, thawed but still cold
2 eggs
1/2 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons flour
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 can apple pie filling
cream cheese frosting (included with rolls)

Streusel Topping:
1/2 cup butter, cold
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans


Cut each cinnamon roll into 8 pieces and arrange evenly in a sprayed 9x13 inch baking dish. Whisk together eggs, cream, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Pour over rolls, coating each piece. Spread apple pie filling evenly over the roll pieces.

Combine streusel topping ingredients and sprinkle over apple pie filling. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 45-60 minutes. Cover with foil last 15 minutes if necessary to prevent over browning. Remove from oven and drizzle with frosting.
