Apple Cinnamon Shamrock Pull Aparts

9 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed (but not risen)
1/4 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cinnamon
1 can apple pie filling
Green sugar sprinkles
6 gold muffin liners


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut thawed dinner rolls into 4 pieces, each. Combine cinnamon and sugar in separate bowl. 

Fill muffin pan with two liners in each cavity. Roll pieces of dough in melted butter and then in cinnamon-sugar mixture, coating the pieces. Place two pieces in the bottom of one liner.

Spoon 1 Tablespoon of apple pie filling (if there are larger pieces, cut them smaller) over top. Add three more coated pieces of dough on top of the pie filling, forming a shamrock shape. When all the cavities are filled, pour small amount of butter over tops and sprinkle green sugar sprinkles over the tops.

Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes, until browned and cooked through. Let cool. If needed, take them out of the muffin tin and add an additional liner if there is leaking. If tops of pull-aparts spread while baking, they can be put back together when cooled down.
