American Flag Pizza

Ingredients:

1 loaf Rhodes frozen bread dough
1 c. pizza sauce
2 c. mozzarella cheese, grated
2-3 ounces Pepperoni slices
12 olives


Instructions:

Thaw loaf of Rhodes frozen bread dough according to package directions. I thawed it on a half sheet baking pan, the same pan I used to make the pizza on.

Once loaf of bread has thawed and is risen spread it to the edges of the sheet pan to form pizza crust. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and set the rack to middle position.

Spread pizza sauce over crust.

Sprinkle cheese over pizza sauce.

Make sure to leave a square space in the top left corner for the stars. Using pepperoni create “stripes” on the pizza. I overlap the pepperoni to make sure the stripe is solid.

Cut olives in half widthwise and place them whole side up creating “stars”.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese is completely melted and crust is golden brown!

Cut in squares and enjoy!
