Pizza Dough

Say goodbye to the delivery boy. Rhodes Bake-N-Serv™ Pizza Dough makes the perfect pizza crust. Personalize your pizza by making it any size you want and topping it however you choose. It’s also great for Calzones or as a loaf of Italian Bread. There are three loaf/crusts per bag.

Thawing tips

  1. During thawing and rising phase, always cover frozen dough with plastic wrap that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Carefully remove plastic wrap before baking. For best results dough should be thawed overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Do not thaw dough in the microwave.
  3. Dough should be thawed to room temperature for ease of rolling out. You may also choose to roll the dough out as much as possible, then cover and let rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Then finish rolling the dough out.

Rising tips

  1. Pizza Dough will rise slowly in a cold kitchen. The optimal temperature for the bread to rise is around 80-90 degrees F.
  2. If dough should rise too much when baking a loaf of bread, you may take the dough out of the pan, punch it down, reshape it, and place it back in the pan to rise again.

Baking tips

  1. When using a glass pan, lower the temperature 25 degrees F.
  2. When using a convection oven, lower the temperature 25 degrees F.
