Last year around Thanksgiving, a friend told me about these thankful rolls. I holidays and traditions, but I have started making these thankful rolls all the time, not just for thanksgiving. They are a great reminder for my kids to be thankful every day, and I love that they are so darn easy to make!

My kids love breaking these rolls open to see what is inside of them. Before our dinner, we ask each person for a few different things they are thankful for, so when it's time to eat, it's always a surprise to see who's thankful item you got. This really is a fun tradition, and it helps my family focus on being thankful!

Ingredients:

Rhodes rolls- 2 per thankful roll.
Slips of paper with thankful items printed on them.
Cupcake pan.

Directions:

Simply spray the cupcake pan with nonstick cooking spray, and place 2 rolls inside each cupcake tin, with the thankful paper folded up between the two rolls. Cover the rolls with plastic wrap that's been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, and let rise.

Remember, you will need 2 frozen Rhodes rolls for each thankful roll, so make sure to get twice as many frozen Rhodes rolls as you want finished thankful rolls.

Please note: If you are using a regular cupcake pan, use regular Rhodes dinner rolls, or if you want really big rolls (like I did), then use this cupcake pan and Rhodes Texas rolls or Rhodes Gourmet dinner rolls (from Sam's Club or Costco).

Follow directions on the package for rising and baking. (Generally, you let the rolls rise for 4-5 hours, and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown). Once the rolls have finished cooking, but while they're still warm, brush melted butter over the tops.
