Snowflake Rolls

Are these not the most precious dinner rolls you've ever laid eyes on {or lips around}? And they have that yummy yeasty flavor we all needin a good dinner roll. These would be super fun...

Here's a super fun treat for a winter day meal:  Snowflake Rolls made with Rhodes Bake N Serv Rolls.Are these not the most precious dinner rolls you've ever laid eyes on {or lips around}? And they have that yummy yeasty flavor we all need in a good dinner roll. These would be super fun at a lunch stuffed with chicken salad...or alongside a hearty winter soup. There's lots of possibilities for these cuties.

Here's a super fun treat for a winter day meal:  Snowflake Rolls made with Rhodes Bake N Serv Rolls.You'll Need>>>
12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature
4 tablespoons butter, softened
4 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon hot water

 

 

Here's a super fun treat for a winter day meal:  Snowflake Rolls made with Rhodes Bake N Serv Rolls.Place rolls evenly spaced in a sprayed round cake pan. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise. In a small bowl combine butter, flour and hot water and mix until smooth. Spoon mixture into a sandwich bag. Push down into one corner of the bag and snip off a very tiny corner. Remove wrap from risen rolls and draw a snowflake on the top of each roll with the butter mixture.

 

Here's a super fun treat for a winter day meal:  Snowflake Rolls made with Rhodes Bake N Serv Rolls.Bake at 350°F 15 minutes or until tops of rolls are golden. Adjust number of rolls for different pan sizes.

You may want to make a double batch of these babies...they disappear as fast as, well, actual snowflakes here in Texas

Snowflake Rolls are the perfect addition to a hot bowl of soup on a cold winter day!

Snowflake Rolls

Ingredients

12 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls, Texas Rolls or Warm-N-Serv® Yeast Dinner Rolls
4 tablespoons butter, softened
4 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon hot water

Instructions

Place rolls evenly spaced in a sprayed round cake pan. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise*.

In a small bowl combine butter, flour and hot water and mix until smooth. Spoon mixture into a sandwich bag. Push down into one corner of the bag and snip off a very tiny corner.

Remove wrap from risen rolls and draw a snowflake on the top of each roll with the butter mixture.

Bake at 350°F 15 minutes or until tops of rolls are golden. Adjust number of rolls for different pan sizes.

*If using Warm-N-Serv® Rolls, draw snowflake while frozen and bake following instructions on bag.
