Reindeer Cinnamon Rolls

My family loves to bring the Christmas spirit into our home in as many different ways as we can. And we especially love Christmas themed food, so these Reindeer cinnamon rolls are a must!

Hey there, it's Natalie from The Creative Mom. This time of year is so much fun! My family loves to bring the Christmas spirit into our home in as many different ways as we can. And we especially love Christmas themed food. So when I saw these Reindeer Cinnamon Rolls, I knew I needed to make them!

I think they turned out pretty darn cute, considering I had the help of 3 little ones in the kitchen. And you bet my kids flipped when they saw this guy come out of the oven! It is such a fun thing to do for Christmas!

Here's how you make them:

Ingredients:

4 Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls (for each reindeer), thawed but still cold
frosting, comes with the rolls
candy, for eyes and nose
fruit leather, for eyelashes (optional)

Directions:

  1. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place one cinnamon roll on baking sheet for the snout.
  3. On two rolls, clip the attached end and unroll half way.
  4. The remaining rolled-up portion will be the eyes (2).
  5. Fold the unrolled portions in half, creating ears. Place above the eyes.
  6. Unroll third roll completely. Use half for each antler.
  7. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap. Let rise slightly.
  8. Remove wrap and bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes until nicely browned. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack.
  9. Decorate with frosting, candy and fruit leather, if desired.

Ingredients

4 Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls, thawed but still cold
frosting, comes with the rolls
candy, for eyes and nose
fruit leather, for eyelashes

Instructions

Spray a baking sheet. Place one cinnamon roll on baking sheet for the snout. Clip the attached end of the next roll and unroll half way. Roll the unattached end to make two attached smaller rolls. Place this double roll above the nose to make the eyes. Unroll third roll completely. Beginning above one eye, loop about half of the roll to make an ear. Curve the rest up to make the antler. Repeat with the last roll on the other side to make the other ear and antler.

Cover with sprayed plastic wrap. Let rise slightly. Remove wrap and bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes until nicely browned. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack. Decorate with frosting, candy and fruit leather.
