You'll love this tasty fall treat! These Pumpkin Orange Roll Cupcakes feature classic fall flavors with a delicious frosting glaze and are very easy to make!

Hello, I'm visiting from Jasey's Crazy Daisy with these fun Pumpkin Orange Cupcakes. These cupcakes are a delicious fall treat! My family loved the sweet combination of orange mixed with the spicy pumpkin mixture and yummy frosting glaze! I loved that they were extremely easy to make and required just a few ingredients! I don't know about you, but this time of year my family is crazy bouncing between school and all of our activities.  To make these, you will start with a dozen frozen orange rolls. You're going to want to set them out on a sprayed baking sheet to thaw just until soft enough to cut (probably about 30 minutes).

While they are softening up, place 12 muffin liners inside the cups of your cupcake pan and spray them with non-stick baking spray.

When the dough is soft, cut each roll into eight pieces.

Now stir together a little pumpkin with some pumpkin pie spice, add your dough bits and mix well.

Now scoop the mixture into the prepared liners, making sure they are all pretty evenly filled.

Now you'll want to bake them at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. They will turn a pretty golden brown.

Give them all a little drizzle of frosting, frosting makes everything better, right?!

Our friend Chef Woolley developed this recipe using Rhodes Orange Rolls and it is tastes wonderful!

Ingredients

12 Rhodes Orange Rolls, thawed but not risen
1 cup pumpkin puree
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
12 cupcake liners
cream cheese frosting, included with rolls

Instructions

Place cupcake liners in a 12 cup muffin tin and spray each liner well with non-stick cooking spray.

In a medium sized bowl, combine pumpkin and spice and mix well. Cut each roll into 8 pieces and drop in the same bowl. Toss all until well combined. Spoon into the 12 liners, dividing evenly.

Bake at 350F 25-28 minutes. Remove from oven and place cupcakes on cooling rack. Drizzle with frosting while still warm.

Just came from grocery store. No orange rolls, so bought cinnamon rolls and no pumpkin puree, so bought pumpkin pie mix. Will this work?

Why don't you let them rise like all the rest of the recipes? Wouldn't they be even lighter and better? Could you use the cinnamon rolls and just add some orange zest? I have made cinnamon rolls out of my regular rolls and just leave off the icing, to make them more 'calorie' friendly. I have never seen the orange rolls in our stores. It is hard to find the cinnamon rolls, and sometimes the reg. rolls. I have tried other brands and they do not come close to Rhodes. I wish you could do demos in the stores, but that would be tooo difficult I know.
