Nutty Apple Crescents are a fun-sized, grab-n-go, quick fix kind of a treat. Great for your next get together!

It's getting to be that time of year where we have more and more get together's. BBQ's, picnics, hangouts, and more. I'm the type of person that likes to bring something new each time to the party - instead of the same old thing. These nutty apple crescents are a fun-sized, grab-n-go, quick fix kind of a treat. With only a handful of steps you can have these made in no time. Take them to your next get together! Who knows? Maybe they will be someones new favorite treat!?!

 

 

These Rhodes Nutty Apple Crescents are a fun-sized, grab-n-go, quick fix kind of a treat.

Gather your ingredients: Rhodes™ Dinner rolls (thawed but still cold), sugar, cinnamon, chopped pecans, and peeled and grated apples

 

 

These Rhodes Nutty Apple Crescents are a fun-sized, grab-n-go, quick fix kind of a treat.

Combine 3 rolls together and flatten into a 10-inch circle. Repeat 3 more times with other rolls.

In a small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle sugar mixture over each circle.

Top with nuts and apple shreds.

They look like fun little pizzas :) With a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut each circle into 8 wedges.

Roll each wedge up from wide edge and place, pointed side down, on a sprayed baking sheet. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise 30-45 minutes. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and immediately place on cooling rack.

For the icing you will need: powdered sugar, milk, almond or vanilla extract, and finely chopped pecans. Combine sugar, milk and extract until smooth.

Drizzle over twists and top with finely chopped pecans. Enjoy!

Ingredients

12 Rhodes Yeast Dinner rolls, thawed but still cold
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 medium apples, peeled and grated

Icing:
1 cup powdered sugar
4-8 teaspoons milk
1 teaspoon almond or vanilla extract
finely chopped pecans
