Multi Grain Bread

A healthy bread full of nuts, seeds and grains. Tastes fabulous toasted.

So if you recall from my past blog post, I LOVE NUTS! Multi Grain is my most favorite bread ever. I love the texture and taste and it is just so delicious. I found a way to nutty up my Rhodes dinner rolls.

a

Here is what you will need:

12 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature

2 tablespoons wheat germ

2 tablespoons steel-cut oats

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

2 tablespoons sunflower seeds

2 tablespoons flax seeds

2 tablespoons sesame seeds (I used toasted sesame seeds)

I found these ingredients at my local grocery store. Some of them come in a large quantity so will have them on hand in the future to make this wonderful bread over and over :)

I took out 12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls and put them in a baggie in the refrigerator to thaw. I then set them on the counter to get to room temperature.

I measured all the other ingredients out first. I then set all the rolls out on the counter and poured all the yummy nutty goodness on top of the rolls.

aThis is the FUN part; you get to knead all the ingredients into the combined rolls. Be prepared it will get a little messy. Just keep incorporating and kneading the dough.

Once you get all the yummy stuff into the dough, form the dough into a loaf and place in a sprayed loaf pan.

a

Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise to the top of the pan. Remove the wrap and bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

This is my very favorite way to eat Rhodes Rolls. I sliced it warm and put a little butter on it and it was heavenly.

My kids all enjoyed it as well as an after school snack and I toasted it this morning for breakfast. This is a great way to get some healthy ingredients into your day. Hope you enjoy this bread as much as I did. Happy Baking!!!!!
