Mini Turkey & Swiss Sliders on Asiago Rolls

Adorable little sandwiches... Mini Turkey Sliders!

I recently got back from the most amazing cruise vacation. Where endless amounts of foods are always at your fingertips. One of my favorite snacks found on the Promenade deck were these adorable little sandwiches. They were just the right size for a mid-afternoon or after-dinner :) snack!

Because the food was so amazing, I've been inspired to re-create a lot of the things we had the pleasure of eating on board. This was my first re-creation, and although it may seem simple (it really is!) it's the flavor and the memories that hold the most meaning. I hope you enjoy!

 

These Mini Turkey and Swiss Sliders are quick and easy when you start with Rhodes Rolls

Rhodes rolls (thawed but still cold), butter, shredded Asiago cheese, sliced deli turkey, sliced Swiss cheese, mayo & mustard.

 

 

These Mini Turkey and Swiss Sliders are quick and easy when you start with Rhodes Rolls

Cut each roll in half. Shape into a ball and place on sprayed or lined baking sheet.

Brush each roll half with melted butter. Preheat oven to 350.

Sprinkle each roll liberally with Asiago cheese (I also sprinkled at the last minute a little bit of garlic salt on top of each roll as well).

Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Assemble your mini slider but cutting each roll almost in half, leaving just the edge attached. Insert your meat and cheese and spread the inside top of the roll with mayo and mustard. Secure each slider with a toothpick.

Ingredients

Mini Turkey and Swill Sliders on Asiago Rolls
12 Rhodes rolls (thawed but still cold)
Butter
shredded Asiago cheese
Garlic Powder
sliced deli turkey
sliced Swiss cheese
mayo & mustard

These look delicious! Did you not let the rolls rise after thawing/cutting and before you baked them? Didn't see that step listed. Thanks!
