Mini Jalapeño Popper Rolls

Hi everyone! This is Tina again from Mommy's Kitchen. Are you looking for an easy appetizer for your next party or football get-together? Today I'm sharing these easy Mini Jalapeño Popper Rolls that I think you're going to love.

These easy rolls start with Rhodes frozen dinner rolls stuffed with cream cheese, fresh jalapenos and crumbled bacon. Everything you love about traditional jalapeno poppers, but inside fluffy yeast rolls. This recipe is quick, easy and no one will even suspect that you used frozen bread dough.

I have to say as much as I love baking from scratch, I also love taking shortcuts. If you don't have the time or patience to make homemade bread dough then, Rhodes Frozen Dough is your secret weapon.
Rhodes bread and roll dough have all the flavor and texture of homemade dough, but without all the fuss of making it from scratch.

I use frozen bread and roll dough to make pizzamonkey bread, holiday breadssweet rolls, bread sticks and dumpling bites. Really, any entree, bread or dessert that requires scratch dough. If you're looking for a deliciously easy appetizer for your next get-together give these mini popper rolls a try. I highly recommend doubling the recipe because these rolls tend to disappear quickly. Let's get started on this easy recipe.

Mini Jalapeño Popper Rolls

These are the ingredients you'll need: 8-10 Rhodes Frozen Dinner Rolls, thawed, 4 ounces cream cheese cubed, If using a combination of cheddar and cream cheese you will need one cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon, 2 -3 fresh jalapenos, sliced and 1 tablespoon butter to brush on baked rolls.

Set aside. Cut each roll in half making 16-20 dough pieces. Roll each dough piece into a 3 inch circle. Place one piece of cream cheese, 1 teaspoon cheddar cheese (if using), one to two jalapeno slices and 2-3 pieces of crumbled bacon on each dough circle.
