Lemon Honey Bread

You will love this sweet & tangy bread . . . . Lemon Honey Bread . . . . Delicious.   Click here to see the full recipe

Have you seen all of the great pull apart breads on Pinterest? I sure have, and have been itching to dive right into those sweet breads. The only thing that worried me was how labor intensive the recipes seemed to be. I knew there had to be an easier way… I looked in my freezer and pulled out a loaf of Rhodes white bread and got to work on this crazy concoction.

Here is what you’ll need:

1 loaf of Rhodes White bread, only slightly thawed
3 ounces of cream cheese
1/4 cup of sugar 1 tablespoon of honey
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons melted butter

In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, honey, and lemon juice. Mix until all of the ingredients are incorporated. Slice the bread into 12-16 slices. Spread a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture between each of the slices, and put back together in a lightly greased bread pan. Just think of it as a bread puzzle!

Allow the bread to rise until it has doubled in size. Brush with the melted butter. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

If you are like me, this needs just a little something extra… So I whipped up a nice lemon glaze to go on top. Here is what you’ll need if you decide to go that extra step: 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 teaspoon melted butter 1 tablespoon lemon juice Whisk all of the ingredients together and drizzle over your bread.

There are no words to describe how amazing this bread is. It’s a lot like a sophisticated version of a honey bun. Super delicious and just in time for summer!

There is no more danger of further cockroach attack from it.

Rubbish should nnot stay in thee house especially at night any time roaches begin their own destructive trails within the houses.
