Italian Cheesy Pull Apart

One taste of this savory Italian Cheesy Pull Apart bread and you'll be in LOVE, add your favorite bowl of soup for lunch or dinner and you become an instant hero at fighting off the win...

Italian Cheesy Pull Apart

With the temperatures freezing in most places, I’ve decided that comfort food is probably going to become a staple in our home. Most of our day is spent under a blanket playing a game, or watching TV, so what better way to enjoy the cold then with a bowl of soup? Tomato Soup to be exact.

Of course you can’t really have tomato soup without something to dip in it. We typically go for grilled cheese, but wanted something a little different to try this time. I had seen this beautiful bread, and decided to put my own spin on the recipe. Rhodes white dinner rolls helped me make a simple and delicious pull-a-part that came together in a snap!

Mix the cheese, garlic salt, basil, parsley, oregano, and melted butter. Toss your cut rolls in the mixture, and pour into your prepared pan.

Cover with plastic wrap and allow to sit until doubled in size.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-23 minutes.

Now is where the fun begins. You can either slice it up, or let the kid in you out and pull it apart piece by piece! My son was in LOVE with this idea. We actually got him to eat an entire bowl of soup thanks to this fun dipping tool!

Ingredients

10 Rhodes rolls, slightly thawed
1/4 C. fresh grated parmesan cheese
3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon oregano
6 Tablespoons salted butter
melted butter.

Instructions

Place 8 or 9 frozen rolls into a parchment lined slow cooker.
I used a 6 quart slow cooker.
Put the lid on the slow cooker. Turn the slow cooker on LOW. Let the rolls thaw and rise for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Turn the slow cooker on HIGH. Cook the rolls for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I wanted the rolls to be brown on top, so I placed them under the broiler for about 90 seconds. We served them with some honey butter. Absolutely delicious!
