Hot Dog Mummies are the best Halloween dinner idea ever!

Hello again! It's Amber from Dessert Now, Dinner Later! I'm here to share a fun halloween food idea! These Hot Dog Mummies are simple and cute! They'd be great for a children's Halloween party or for dinner Halloween night before you go trick-or-treating. The kids are sure to enjoy dipping them in ketchup and will gobble them right up!

The ingredients list is simple: bun length hot hogs and Rhodes white dinner rolls. Grab a knife and some scissors to assist you in creating the mummies.

Hot Dog Mummies

First you are going to cut the arms and legs of the hot dogs. I have a little measuring tool so you can see approximately how far to cut. Leave about 1 1/2-inches for the head.

Cut a small piece of dough off of one roll to use as head wrap. Cut the rest of the roll in half.

Roll the head wrap into a rope about 6-7 inches in length. Roll the other two pieces into 2 ropes about 18-20 inches long.

Starting at the foot and using one long rope, wrap the dough around one leg about 4 or 5 times, 2 times around the body and up and over a shoulder and 3 or 4 times down one arm.
