Ham and Parmesan Rolls are not only quick & easy to make, they are delicious and full of flavor.
I know I keep saying it...  but this recipe is a hit with my family.  Especially for those on-the-go meals and the men folk.  These delicious rolls can be really filling.  We love them just as they are.  But they also go well dipped into marinara sauce or ranch dressing.  Although the guys in my family like these Ham and Parmesan Roll large.  They are great made into a smaller size for a baby or bridal shower as well.

Start with 12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
2/3 cup diced ham
2/3 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
1-2 Tablespoons butter
(the original recipe calls for 1/2 tsp salt- but I found it wasn't needed)

In a mixing bowl, combine diced ham and grated cheese. With a pair of scissors, clip rolls into small pieces and drop into ham and cheese mixture.  Stir frequently to coat dough pieces, until all rolls have been cut and added to the mixing bowl.

Once all rolls are in the bowl, knead mixture with your hands to thoroughly combine.  Place dough ball onto cutting board and form into a round disk.

Cut into eight or twelve pieces depending on the size of rolls you want.

Roll each piece into a ball and place on a greased or parchment lined cookie sheet.  Cover with plastic wrap that has been sprayed with baking spray.

Let rise until double in size, about an hour.  Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.  Brush with melted butter while still warm.

Freshly grated parmesan cheese and dice ham give these easy dinner rolls a delicious kick for a variety of occasions.

Ingredients

12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
2/3 cup diced ham
2/3 cup, grated fresh Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

Place the ham, cheese and salt in a medium sized mixing bowl and stir thoroughly to combine.

With a pair of scissors, cut one roll into several small pieces and drop into the ham mixture. Stir to coat all pieces in the mixture. Repeat with remaining rolls, stirring thoroughly after each roll.

Once all rolls are cut, knead the mixture with your hands to thoroughly combine the dough with the ham mixture.

Divide the mixture into 8 large or 12 smaller pieces and form each piece into a ball. Place on a sprayed baking sheet and cover with sprayed plastic wrap. Let rise until double in size.

Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter while still warm.
