Here is what you are going to need. Rhodes Rolls (thawed to room temperature), pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings (anything you would put on your pizza). If you haven't tried pepperoni minis, you should. They are so cute and taste the same as normal sized pepperonis yet they are perfect for things like this. I also used a string cheese for the football laces.

Take 2 Rhodes rolls per person and let them thaw to room temperature. Now flatten out into an oval shape. Are you ready for some football? The best thing about watching football at home is the food. One of our football foods we enjoy making is pizza pockets.

Now add your pizza sauce, toppings, and cheese leaving a little room on the edges. This allows you to seal the edges. Are you ready for some football? The best thing about watching football at home is the food. One of our football foods we enjoy making is pizza pockets.

Now, take another roll and roll it out to the same size as the first one, put it on the top of your pizza and seal the edges by pinching them tight. I try to make them into the shape of football and add a little cheese to the top to look like a football. Are you ready for some football? The best thing about watching football at home is the food. Place your pizza pockets on a baking sheet, pizza stone, or pizza pan. Bake at 350 for 13-15 min or until golden brown. At 8 mins I rubbed butter over the top to help brown up the pocket. This added a little buttery flavor to the pocket. Are you ready for some football? The best thing about watching football at home is the food.
