A delicious combination of two family favorites, brought to you by Rhodes blogger Julie. Try this new recipe for your next pizza night! Click here to read the full article...

This is not just ordinary pizza or sloppy joe’s for that matter…But if your children or grandchildren love pizza AND Sloppy Joes, then this combo recipe is just for you.

You will need the following ingredients for the sloppy joe mixture or you can use your own favorite recipe…or I have even tried it with Manwich to save on time.

9 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
1 can chicken gumbo soup
1/3 cup ketchup
1 1/2 tablespoons mustard
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Add ketchup, mustard and soup. Soup in sloppy joe sauce? Yes! Trust me, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the flavor and texture it adds. Set that aside for a minute.

Combine the rolls. Yep, just mush them all together into a nice ball of dough. (Kids love this part.)

Roll out the dough into a circle or a rectangle. Just use whatever shape fits your pan. And it doesn't have to be a perfect shape either - it will still be yummy! If you're having a hard time getting the dough to roll out, make sure it is warm and cover it with sprayed plastic wrap for 5 or 10 minutes to let it rest. It will roll out much easier for you after that.

Place the crust on a greased pizza pan or cookie sheet. Especially on this pizza, it will help hold in all the toppings if you can build up the edge around the outside of the crust a bit.

Take a fork and poke the crust. This will help prevent bubbles. Prebake the crust at 400 for about 5-10 minutes.

Spread the crust with the sloppy joe mixture.

Top with the grated cheese.

Then bake an additional 10-15 minutes until everything is hot and melted.
