12 Days of Rhodes Winter Warmup

The wild winter weather at this time of year just screams comfort food! Curling up in front of the fireplace with something steamy sounds like heaven, and we've got you covered!

First up, a very versatile little creation called the bread bowl.

Rhodes Soup Bowls

Ooh, warm and toasty goodness! Fill these babies with your favorite soup, stew or chili and you've got your dipping bread built right in. You can also fill them with sauces, cheeses, or dips. Take a look at Yvonne's Game Night post for her fun ideas. These bowls are so easy to make with one loaf of Rhodes bread dough. You can choose whilte or wheat. Just let the dough thaw then cut it into thirds. Round off the tops a bit, then set them on a sprayed baking sheet to rise until double in size. Make sure the sides don't touch because you don't want any weak spots. After they've risen, brush with an egg wash to give them a little shine then bake at 350 F for about 20 minutes. Ta-da!
