Day 7: 12 Days of Rhodes, Christmas Fun "Desserts to Impress"

This Twisted Cinnamon Wreath will make you the star at your holiday party!  Everyone will be wondering "How did you do that!?"

a

With all of the Holiday parties we are attending, Rhodes Twisted Cinnamon Wreath is delicious and best of all Impressive!  With very basic ingredients, you will not need to run back to the store for the 4th time today!

Here is what you need:

a

10 Rhodes Texas™ Rolls or 16 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature

a

Next, Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Combine rolls and roll into an 11x20-inch rectangle.

a

Combine butter, sugar and cinnamon and spread over dough. Sprinkle pecans over the top.  (We have a no nuts rule in our house...so I omitted the Pecans)

a

Roll up tightly, jelly roll style.

a

With a sharp serrated knife, cut roll in half lengthwise.

a

Turn each half so the cut side is facing up

a

Carefully twist halves together so cut sides can be seen.

a

a

Form the twist into a circle and pinch ends together. Place on sprayed baking sheet. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise 30-45 minutes. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 20-25 minutes. Cover with foil the last 5 minutes, if necessary, to prevent over browning.

a

Combine glaze ingredients and brush wreath while still warm.

a

The detail in the wreath is really cool!

a

Now, take that wreath and go have some fun at your Christmas Party!
