Hi!  I'm Rachel from Sprinkle Some Fun and I'm here to feature this delicious recipe for Crescent Rolls.  Warm and crusty crescent rolls are always a welcome treat in our house.  The best rolls are always yeast risen and to make things easy these start off with thawed Rhodes dinner rolls.   These make a great addition to any meal and you'll definitely want to make them when guests come over.  To begin, you will need 8 Rhodes dinner rolls thawed to room temperature.

Press the thawed rolls onto a baking sheet that's been lightly sprayed with a little oil and roll out into a 15 inch circle.  Cover this will plastic wrap that's been sprayed with oil and let rise for 15 to 20 minutes.

Next, remove wrap and brush circle with softened butter. Cut into 8 equal pie shaped pieces (I used a rolling pin for this). Roll each piece, starting at wide end and continuing down to point.  Place rolls on sprayed baking sheet, point underneath and curving sides into crescent shape. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double. Remove wrap and gently brush with beaten egg mixed with 2 teaspoons water.

Bake at 350°F 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.  Once they are baked, I like to serve them in a basket that's lined with a table napkin or other linen.  These would make such a nice addition to an Easter brunch!
