Cinnamon Swirl Pull Apart Bread (whew, what a mouthful!), is as much fun to make as it is to eat. It is made with Rhodes frozen dough, I just love the convenience, don't you?! This bread is perfect right out of the oven with a sprinkling of powdered sugar. Pulling apart each section to fill your mouth with buttery, cinnamon sugar pleasure. Cinnamon Swirl Pull Apart Bread
1 loaf Rhodes White Bread
2 Tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
4 Tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins or dried fruit, optional
Thaw one loaf Rhodes White Bread, Take margarine, or butter, out of refrigerator to soften while dough is thawing. Grease 8 1/2 x 4 1/2" loaf pan. Once bread is thawed, lightly spray, or flour, a surface. Roll dough out to 16 x 8" (approximately). With pizza cutter, cut down the middle width wise to make two 4" sections. Cut into 4" sections length wise. Spread with margarine, or butter, leaving a border on all sides. Sprinkle each piece with 1/2 Tablespoon sugar. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top of sugar. Add raisins or dried fruit, in a line, if using. Pat down with hands. Starting from long side, roll each piece up tightly. Seal seams. Place in greased loaf pan length wise. Stacking a second layer on top. You may need to put push top pieces back in place. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap. Let rise until double or has risen to top of pan, about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F while dough is rising. Cook 25 to 35 minutes, covering last 10 minutes if browning too much. Take out of oven, immediately take out of pan and cool on rack. Enjoy!
