Summer is in full effect here in Utah, hot sunny days and warm nights. The last thing this mom wants to do is turn on her oven to bake. I try to avoid turning on my oven as much as possible! Sometimes that can prove to be a little tricky, especially when you have a family to feed. Enter the waffle iron, YES ~ such a great idea for weekend breakfasts.

This quick and easy recipe has only 4 ingredients; can it honestly get any better than that? Pull out your waffle iron and prepare for smiley ~ happy faces and full tummies. This is something even your pickiest eaters will love.

Seriously, that is it. If life were only so simple as Cinnamon Rolls and a waffle iron.

Note: Rhodes Cinnamon Roll Waffles can also be made using a Belgian waffle iron.  Let Cinnamon Rolls thaw to room temperature.  (Do not flatten Cinnamon Rolls.) Spray waffle iron with non-stick spray.  Place Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls in and bake approx. 3 min.  Serve with fresh fruit or ice cream.

Happy “waffle ironing” friends!
