Cinnamon Roll French Toast with Caramel Syrup!  YUM, the title says it all!

We are coming up quick on Mother's day, have you thought about what to do for the mother in your life? The first thing that comes to my mind is breakfast or brunch! Why not make her a special meal where she doesn't have to cook, clean up, or worry about a single thing. You could consider breakfast in bed (if you wake up early enough, mom's are always up before the sun comes up!) or better yet, how about brunch? This Cinnamon Roll French Toast with Caramel Syrup is the perfect way to make mom feel special! Plus, Rhodes has already made the cinnamon rolls for you, all you have to do it put it all together. Easy peasy!

 

Cinnamon Roll French Toast with Caramel Syrup!

First thing you will want to do is gather your ingredients. Having everything all in one place helps so that you won't forget anything. It also makes for a quicker process in the kitchen. You'll need the following for the french toast: Rhodes™ Cinnamon Rolls, thawed & eggs. The following for the caramel syrup: buttermilk, sugar, butter, corn syrup, baking soda & vanilla.

Once your rolls are thawed, you'll be ready to add them to your sprayed bread pan.

Cover with sprayed plastic wrap & let rise until doubled in size.. be careful not to let rise too high (I'm always guilty of that) Oops!

 

 

Cinnamon Roll French Toast with Caramel Syrup!

Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 20-25 minutes. Remove from pan to cool before slicing. While bread is cooling, prepare your caramel syrup. Combine buttermilk, sugar, butter, corn syrup and baking soda in a 4-quart saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and reduce heat to medium low (make sure it continues boiling). Cook, stirring continually for 8-12 minutes or until the syrup reaches a rich golden brown color. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

 

 

Cinnamon Roll French Toast with Caramel Syrup! This is homemade thick slices of hot french toast with strawberrys.

Combine eggs and beat well. Dip bread slices in egg mixture and cook in a sprayed electric frying pan heated to 350°.

Ingredients

8 Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls, thawed
eggs

Caramel Syrup
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Lay cinnamon rolls in a sprayed 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch sprayed bread pan and push them together to remove any air pockets. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double in size.

Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 20-25 minutes. Remove from pan to cool before slicing.
