You guys, this cinnamon roll cake couldn't be any easier to make. You literally only need to buy one thing from the store and you'll be able to make this amazing cake. And besides being easy, its pretty much just like eating a big cinnamon roll, just in the form of cake - so its perfect for a simple birthday cake, or how about some cake for breakfast? So, like I said before, you literally only need one thing to make this amazing cake. Want to know what that is? All you need for this is 1 bag of Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting, and of course a 9x13 pan, non stick spray, and plastic wrap. And along with only needing 1 thing to make this, its only a few steps to make too. So first you'll let your rolls thaw for a little bit. (You want them to be thawed, but still cold - don't let them rise quite yet). This took about 1 hour for me. Then you're going to cut each cinnamon roll into 4 or 5 pieces. As you're cutting the rolls into pieces, you will be putting the pieces into your 9x13 pan (sprayed with nonstick spray first). Distribute them evenly to fill the whole pan. Then cover with sprayed plastic wrap and allow the rolls to rise till they double in size. This took about 3 hours for me. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees when your cinnamon roll pieces are almost done rising. When its ready, pop your pan into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until your cake is golden brown. (It took 23 minutes for me). Remove your pan from the oven and allow the cake to cool slightly. Drizzle the top with your 2 frosting packets (they come in the bag with the rolls). Cut it up and serve!
