Chocolate Cinnamon Roll Loaf

This delicious Chocolate Cinnamon Roll Loaf comes together in a snap and tastes just like chocolate donuts. Yummy!

Easy Chocolate Cinnamon Roll LoafI'm stopping by today from Jasey's Crazy Daisy with a feature recipe for Chocolate Cinnamon Roll Loaf from Rhodes. Cinnamon Rolls. Chocolate. Easy. Delicious. Yes!!! What more could you ask for? After tasting this yummy bread, my kids decided it tasted like chocolate donuts. They are spot on. Who doesn't love chocolate donuts?  We really enjoyed eating it and it was fun to make too. I love starting with premade cinnamon rolls and ending with a fancy loaf of bread with cinnamon swirls throughout and chocolate to boot. Would you like to know how to make this Chocolate Cinnamon Loaf for your family? Let's get started.

First spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray and place eight rolls inside. Let set for about an hour.

Step One

You will let them sit long enough so that they are just barely soft enough to slice in half.

Step Two

You'll end up with sixteen sliced mini cinnamon rolls.

Step Three Spread each roll with chocolate spread. The recipe actually calls for chocolate nut spread, but I used a chocolate spread by Hersheys because my daughter is allergic to nuts. Make sure to leave one plain for the end. See that lonely little guy down there? He was made to stand out.

Step Four Now line the rolls up inside of your pan. You will start with one chocolate covered slice placing the side without the chocolate on the outside. Continue placing rolls next to each other sandwiching the chocolate between them. Use the slice without chocolate last ensuring that both ends are without chocolate.

Step Five Cover loosely with plastic wrap that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray and let rise until the dough reaches the top of the pan...... or a little bit over in my case.

Step Six

Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes and golden brown. Turn bread out onto a platter.

Step Seven Knead one of the frosting packets that came with the cinnamon rolls until it is soft and drizzle it over your Chocolate Cinnamon Loaf. I found it easiest to squeeze the frosting into small bowl and microwave it for about 20 seconds. This gave the perfect consistency to easily pour the frosting over the bread.

Easy Chocolate Cinnamon Roll Loaf

Doesn't that look gorgeous? It can be sliced or even just pulled apart depending on how you want to serve it. Either way, it's delicious!

Ingredients:

8 Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls, slightly thawed
1/2 cup chocolate nut spread, I used chocolate spread due to a nut allergy
1 frosting packet, included with rolls

Directions:

Slice each cinnamon roll in half through the side to make 16 thin cinnamon rolls. Spread chocolate spread on each roll except for the last one. Stack them together in stacks of 5 or 6 so they don't fall over. Tip each stack on it's side and place stacks in a sprayed loaf pan. There should be no chocolate spread on each end.

Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until loaf reaches the top of pan. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 25-30 minutes. Cover with foil to prevent over browning last 5-10 minutes of baking, if necessary. Drizzle with frosting.
